Dr. G. S. Brar is director of Castro Valley Animal Hospital. He has been in the field of Veterinary Medicine for over 10 years. Born and raised on a farm in India , he has had close contact with animals including dogs, cats, dairy animals and horses, since he was a child. Dr. Brar graduated from Punjab Agricultural University with Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002, from where he also got his Masters in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology in 2004. He went to Missouri State University, Columbia for his CPE through American Veterinary Medical Association / ECFVG. Dr. Brar is working in California since 2006 and has tremendous experience in preventive care, small animal medicine, emergency medicine and Small animal surgery. Dr. Brar is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association and California Veterinary Medical Association. He also constantly goes through continuing education so that he can keep up to date with the latest and rapid scientific developments in the veterinary medical profession. Because of this, he is able to provide high quality, latest techniques and sound veterinary medical care to your beloved companions. In his spare time, he enjoys horse riding, soccer and photography.
